That First Job

So, I've been avoiding this my whole life. I've always known from a very young age that no matter what industry you try to be successful in EVERYONE has to pay their dues. Well it's finally my turn, and I'm gonna hate it. But I guess in the grand scheme of things 9 months of field experience really isn't all that bad. If anything having to go through that entry level position will break me down and then build me back up.

I've always been wary of asking for what I feel like I deserve, but maybe that's because I haven't done the very lowest tasks that any marketer has to do. So after this portion of my job I will feel like I've earned the kind of salary I've always wanted.


I believe that for anybody in Management positions should have to start at the very bottom. That way they can experience the full effect of the entire process. They can be efficient and understanding because they have gone through exactly what their subordinates have had to deal with.

But, HEY I'm still young, I've still got lots of humility left in me. So I've just got to suck it up, do my job, be good at it and continue toward that goal I've always had.
